SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

During my mathematical studies I got very interested in dynamical systems and their applications in physics, chemistry, and biology. Now I really want to understand the dynamics of the processes in the brain, both from a mathematically and a biologically point of view. One day I would like to be part of an interdisciplinary team of researchers that try to develop the young field of neuroscience, certainly for the sake of knowledge, perhaps even for the sake of medical purposes!
