SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Plasticity related changes; molecular underspinnings of behavioral phenomena such as acoustic startle and fear potentiated startle; application of both molecular and electrophysiological techniques (with special feature of the patch-clamp) and molecular phylogenetics. Further scientific development in the area of neurobiology with special emphasis on electrophysiology.
