SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

The lives of proteins start with correct folding, finding their proper cellular place, playing their physiological role, and dying with degradation. This crucial process in cells, whose disruption can lead to many diseases, has always aroused my curiosity. Also, I am interested in protein-ligand, protein-protein interactions and connections between the structure and function of proteins. I would like to study these fields of research with experimental and complementary computational approaches in the future. To this end, I am passionate about expanding my wet and dry lab skills in all areas of molecular biology. My long-term academic goal is to contribute to our understanding of the structure and dynamical behavior of proteins.
