SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Having been passionate about studying cancer, I was primarily focused on cancer biology in the recent years. To dive into detail, I am more interested in combining the newly emerged methods such as Omics with the previous knowledge in genetics to investigate the how the body reacts to a tumor, or an infection by regulating the genes’ expression and proteins’ interactions in the molecular dimensions. Moreover, unveiling the unknown details on the immunological and physiological responses to tumorigenesis on one hand, and infections on the other hand have been always exciting for me; hence, I would like to get more engaged with research in such areas. Furthermore, studying microbiota and its role in the body, drug delivery, particularly novel strategies for cancer treatment and finally, systems biology can be mentioned as my other scientific interests. My publications in the aforementioned topics can be accessed here.
