Help for people effected by crises around the world

There are conflicts, crises and natural disasters in all regions of the world, some of which have drastic effects on economy and society.

Many people who study or work at the University of Göttingen come from areas of crises or have relatives and friends there. Our thoughts are with all those affected and their relatives.

Help is needed urgently. We therefore strongly support the appeal for donations by the Alumni Göttingen e.v. “Emergency aid – Give hope”.

Due to donations already given, Alumni Göttingen e.v. were able to support students and researchers of the University of Göttingen go through difficult times and look towards to a brighter future.

Donations to support staff and students in need of financial help

We offer support to staff and students who are in financial need due to the disasters around the world. Please contact us directly via email: international@uni-goettingen.de.

The Studentenwerk’s Psychosocial Counselling (PSB) also offers support services.
