Göttingen Cognition Forum: Curiosity & Interaction

We are excited to host the first Göttingen Cognition Forum. We are looking forward to welcoming researchers from around the world to discuss how social interactions and interaction with the environment shape cognition in humans and non-human animals. 4th Annual SFB Retreat
June 23-25, Conference center at the Historic Observatory
The Retreat is the annual convention of all SFB members to discuss the progress in the previous year as well as future plans. The Retreat also involves social events like a communal barbeque and a hike to the nearby nature reserve Kerstlingröder Feld.

Fourth Göttingen Neural Networking Day

Social background plays an important role in the German higher education system and also influences the decision to pursue a doctorate. Students and researchers from non-academic backgrounds are still underrepresented in academia. This workshop aims to support first-generation academics in developing strategies to use their personal background as a positive element in their careers. The workshop will be held in German.
