Symposium Bridging the Scales in Mechanobiology: From cytosceleton to 3D Tissues took place from March 25-27, 2025 at the historic "Alte Mensa" in Göttingen. Organized by a team of dedicated PhD students, including Ruben, Elena, Jannis, Eric, Hannah, Kyeongmin, and Laura, the event brought together researchers from two research training groups, CYTAC and ME3T (Aachen), both funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).

The symposium featured two renowned invited speakers, Mariaceleste Aragona University of Copenhagen, Aragona Group and Peter Lénárt MPI NAT, Göttingen, who presented their latest research findings.
The program included a mix of traditional talks, flash talks, poster presentations, and innovative method flash talks followed by group discussions.

The symposium featured an impressive 33 posters from both RTGs. Hajaani Manoharan received the Best Poster Award for her work on "Early response analyses of desmosomes and keratin intermediate filaments under strain in an epithelial monolayer."
