SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My interest lies in the simple yet elegant process described by the central dogma. Especially, the control of the information exchange between DNA, RNA and proteins. I am also interested in the cellular organelles involved in the regulation of this process and other information exchanges within the organelles (e.g. information transfer between synapses, mitophagy). During my studies, I would like to learn how to design efficient and reproducible experiments, acquire more lab techniques, and nurture my scientific instinct.
