Introduction to Business Thinking and Management
Target Group:
Bachelor students of the Faculty of Economics
Learning outcomes:
The module provides students with an overview of business management thinking and action. Students are familiarized with the content and fields of action of corporate management, as well as the basic scientific methods. The practical relevance of business management content is made clear to students through discussion rounds on current topics with practitioners. In addition, a common understanding of the study of business administration is developed with students, service staff, and professors based on the mission statement for teaching and learning at the Faculty of Business and
Economics. Furthermore, a code of conduct for learning and teaching is discussed. Students learn about the wide range of student initiatives and their opportunities for their studies. Overall, the module familiarizes students with all the essential basic content required for a successful degree in business administration.
