SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My research interests lie in systems and cognitive neuroscience, with a particular focus on sensory processing, neuroimaging, and the neural mechanisms underlying perception and memory. My experiences across neurolinguistics, behavioral neuroscience, and olfactory research have led me to develop a huge interest in olfaction, memory, and sensory perception and neuroscience. Therefore, my goal is to investigate the neural mechanisms underlying sensory and cognitive processes through neuroimaging and system-level approaches, with the broader aim of contributing to a deeper understanding of how sensory experiences shape human cognition and behavior.
