Research Centre Agriculture and Environment

The ZLU coordinates interdisciplinary research projects which focus on the interaction between agriculture and the environment. Various disciplines from Agricultural Sciences and other faculties are represented in the centre, together with non-university partners. The central aims of the ZLU are to achieve a greater understanding of ecosystems used in agriculture and to promote the development of the agricultural economy in a manner which conserves resources and is in line with environmental and social objectives. The centre is supported by the institutes of the Faculty for Agricultural Sciences.
