SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

During my bachelor study, I have always been interested in the molecular signaling pathways in cellular and neural communications. Aside from that, I am also interested in learning the biological mechanisms underlying learning, memory acquisition, and neurodegenerative diseases. In the future, I can see myself focusing on topics like brain plasticity or neurodegeneration. However, I am also open to other possibilities. My current goal in the master program is to explore different areas in the neurosciences, to learn different kinds of experimental techniques, and to eventually discover an intriguing research theme to dedicate myself to.
