SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My primary scientific interests lie in the intersection of molecular biology, bioinformatics, and systems biology. I am particularly interested in the computational analysis of gene expression, especially in identifying and characterizing novel regulatory molecules. This interest was deepened during my bachelor’s thesis project, where I used R Studio to analyze lncRNA expression levels and uncover potential novel lncRNAs. I am passionate about integrating computational approaches with molecular biology to better understand gene regulation and its implications in health and disease. My long-term goal is to pursue a PhD that focuses on transcriptomics, gene regulation, and systems-level analysis, with the aim of contributing to advances in precision medicine and functional genomics.
