My name is Aiyen, and I am a senior academic staff of Tadulako University, Central Sulawesi-Indonesia. I am the guest scientist of the Vegetation and Phytodiversity Analysis Department of -August-Universität Göttingen, hosted by Dr. rer.nat. Heike Culmsee. My husband is also a guest scientist at the Albrecht von Haller Institut. I would like to emphasize that my family and my departure to Germany was due time, certainly because of the intensive assistantship of the Welcome Centre of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.

What you see on the website of the Welcome Centre is what you get! There is a real warmth and welcoming air around the university due to the adorable support of the Welcome Centre staff. It was the Welcome Centre, who made it easy for us to arrange our visa-related issues, and has undoubtedly given us the foundation we needed when we arrived.

We have also taken advantage from several events and activities run by Welcome Centre and made friends from different parts of the world. If we had the choice, we would definitely choose to be guests of Georg-August-Universität Göttingen again, certainly because of the excellent support of the Welcome Centre. Heartily thanking you for the supports that you have given- your final grade is A+!
