SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My research interests revolve around the field of molecular neuropharmacology with a particular interest in the effect of the different neuroprotective agents (Nootropics) on the neurogenesis and neurodegeneration of the nervous tissue, especially the neural stem cells and progenitors. I want to study the differential neuroprotective agents’ effects on the cellular level (neural stem cells, progenitors and neurons) via the differentiation, proliferation and survivability against stressors, and how they alter their molecular signaling and synaptic plasticity.
