SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Psychiatric conditions such as major depressive disorder, which is one of the leading causes for disability worldwide, have a great influence on different aspects of life and offer researchers a challenging puzzle. Therefore, I am interested in researching cellular and molecular basis of mental diseases. One of my major goals is to search for new pharmacological solutions that will improve treatment of these diseases.
