SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am particularly interested in neurodegeneration and neuroplasticity mechanisms, and especailly in the search for potential neuroprotective agents. My interests also include the nervous system, pharmacology, physiology, and functional anatomy, the cellular, neurochemical, and molecular basis of brain diseases, and the settlement / development of these kind of disorders.
