SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Uncontrolled proliferation of the cells is treated by temporary methods such as chemotherapy. However, in a post-genomic era, the possibility of a more mechanistic approach continues to inspire me. This deep-rooted aspiration of working in the field of cancer biology has only strengthened with time. I believe in breaking problems down and uncomplicating them, since that is where the real solution lies. A thorough knowledge of molecular biology would enable me to delve in the depths of the subject.
