SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My focus lies on behavioral neurosciences. In particular, I am interested in memory and learning mechanisms influencing behavior. In this context I want to investigate how information is stored, accessed and how malfunctions lead to various neurodegenerative disorders. In order to investigate these questions, I would like to acquire a broad skill set of neuroscientific techniques.
