Dr. Anna Fruhstorfer

Dr. Anna Fruhstorfer was part of the Alexander von Humboldt Chair of Comparative Constitutionalism team at the University of Göttingen from November 2017 to September 2018.

Anna Fruhstorfer studied Political Science and History at University Passau. She received her PhD for the thesis "Constitutions and Presidents. How Formal Rules Constrain and Empower" in 2015 after her graduate studies at Humboldt University Berlin. From 2009 to 2015 she held a research and teaching position at Humboldt University Berlin, was a visiting PhD student at the University of Texas at Austin and worked as a researcher for the Comparative Constitutions Project. From 2015-2016 she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Humboldt University Berlin and from 2016-2017 at the University of Texas at Austin.

Research Interests
Her main research interests include constitutions, constitutional politics as well as executive-legislative relations especially in Eastern Europe and the Post-soviet area.
