SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My scientific research interest has been recently focused on protein-protein interaction studies since proteins create networks that are powerful tools for understanding cell physiology in different states. In the context of my bachelor thesis, I investigated one of the interaction partners of microtubule-severing enzyme, spastin. Currently, I am looking forward to gain insights into structural biology research because understanding the dynamics of macromolecules is crucial to define their function and interactions by examining three-dimensional structures. I think that imaging of a single molecule under microscope and determining what it actually looks like should be very exciting!
