SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in studying all aspects of protein biochemistry such as types of folds, protein-protein interactions, protein-nucleic acid interactions, enzyme catalysis and protein degradation. I am intrigued by the delicate structure-function relationship. Structure prediction and analysis with the help of bioinformatics tools is one area that has recently captured my interest. After my PhD, I wish to continue in research and teaching.
