SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

The area of my scientific interest is in molecular biosciences with a strong interest in DNA repair and its importance for genome stability, especially in the context of cancerous cells. Also, molecular mechanisms of intracellular signal transduction and subsequent regulation of gene expression are fascinating topics of discussion and research for me. Another field that I want to explore is neuroscience. I find the mechanisms of signal transduction in neurons quite intriguing. My future goals are to deepen my understanding in the above mentioned fields, exploring new aspects of the Molecular Biosciences and deciding on an area of research to specialize in.
