In the media workshop led by Stadtradio, your children will not only learn how to use the technical devices, but also collect sounds and original sounds, they will deal with lively reporting, interviews, music selection and editing. This programme week is aimed at children aged 8 to 12 who have many questions and are looking for child-friendly answers, who want to discover their voices and use them as a tool, who simply want to try their hand at being a reporter or editor, or who want to take a look behind the scenes at Forum Wissen.
The media and museum educational holiday programme starts every day at 8 am and ends at 4 pm at Forum Wissen. During the course of the week, the children not only switch between the facilities of Stadtradio and Forum Wissen, but also move around the city as teams of reporters accompanied by qualified childcare workers from Kindertagespflege Göttingen e.V. or go to the University’s canteen for lunch. In order to be able to offer these attractive holiday programme weeks, the university covers a significant part of the costs. Participation in the holiday programme is therefore not possible for external persons.
