SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in the molecular mechanism of learning and memory and the manner in which human cells react in a particular situation, as well as the interdisciplinary areas combining physics, chemistry, and computer science with biological science which seek for a panacea for life-threatening diseases such as Alzheimer's disease. I intend to focus on genes and their influence on the development and function of the nervous system, and to develop cures for such neurodegenerative diseases.
