Learning outcome and core skills
Advanced knowledge of principle functions of the mammalian immune system. Understanding of the interaction of the innate and adaptive immune system in defending pathogenic microorganisms. Insights into the origin of immune pathological processes as well as into therapeutical strategies for their treatment. Insights into basic immunological techniques.
