SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My main current focus is on fundamental research and revealing the mechanisms by which life works rather than specific medical research. The areas that interest me most are the biology of ageing, synthetic biology and virology. Other areas of interest include microbiology, immunology and genetics. As I do not feel ready yet to specialize in a specific field and I hope that the Molecular Biology MSc program will help me making an informed decision regarding the area of research that best matches my interest and to which I can also contribute most.
