SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in learning a broad range of techniques in molecular biology and I believe that the program provides a great opportunity to get a good overview of different directions of research. One topic that fascinates me, is the complexity of living organisms: Which mechanisms regulate gene expression during development? What are the specific functions and interaction partners of certain molecules? And how do cells communicate via signaling pathways? Therefore it is necessary to develop new techniques for a better understanding and I hope to contribute my part to it.
