My scientific interest lies in the field of immunology and infection biology. I have been intrigued by mechanisms by which pathogens invade host cells, host immune cells fight pathogens, and pathogens evade the host immune system. Understanding mechanisms of actions of a B or T cell against a pathogen and the host-pathogen interactions involved may help unravel new strategies of immunotherapy.
