SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in the intersections of developmental and molecular biology, genetics, oncology, and microbiology. The molecular mechanisms of how organisms develop from a single cell to complex, multicellular adults are fascinating to me. Especially intriguing are errors in these developmental processes and how our knowledge of these pathways can help address health issues. In Göttingen, I look forward to exploring the diverse fields of molecular biology and finding additional interests to pursue.
