SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I started working in a wet neuroscience lab for the first time during my Master studies. There, I discovered my passion for research on neurodegeneration. More specifically, I am interested in how Alzheimer's disease influences spine morphology and thus alters synaptic connectivity. I am looking foward to learning more laboratoy techniques used in research on Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. I am also intersted in neuroplasticity and the role of nutrition and exercise in neurogenesis.
