SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My scientific interest is based on trying to understand how organisms work on the molecular, cellular, organ and the whole organism level. I am interested in getting insight into the complex processes involved in cognition, behavior, and neurodegenerative diseases. I wish to be able to contribute to the advancement in basic research in these fields, but also to the development of medical treatments.
