Education

I did my previous studies in Turin (Italy), where I got a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences (2017) and a Master’s degree in Environmental Biology (2020). My research areas were mostly entomology, biodiversity conservation and genetics. I’ve always been interested in studying the impact of anthropic activities on natural ecosystems and which are the molecular and biochemical processes at the basis of complex ecosystem functions.

PhD Research Project

In the framework of the RTG project, I will focus on the functions of ectomycorrhizal fungi for tree nutrition, how they vary with tree species identity and environmental stress, and how they could be impacted by climate change.
