SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Since my high school years, I have been deeply fascinated by all molecular processes and the precise way they orchestrate overall functioning of our bodies. In my opinion, the secrets of life can be discovered by understanding various molecular events. This is the reason why Molecular Biology and Epigenetics are the main areas of my scientific interests. I am looking forward to gaining new knowledge and developing new skills during my studies at the University of Göttingen. I believe the laboratory rotation projects will broaden my knowledge and give me more orientation about my Ph.D. My interests in the progress of molecular research are the driving force behind my decision to pursue a career in science! One of my favorite quotes is "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams" by Eleanor Roosevelt
