SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My scientific interest lies in the fields of neuroscience, molecular biology, genetics, physiology, and evolution. I find it fascinating that everything, from the harmonization of processes in the organism to behavior, emotions, and social interactions, is governed by the connections and functioning of the brain itself. In my future career, I would like to focus on understanding neurodegenerative diseases and neuronal disorders, the complete mechanisms of their development, including the hereditary components and the influence of the environment.
