SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am drawn to transduction processes, which in some cases have been able to detect even single quanta (light, olfaction), and to the machines that ultimately allow transfer of the sensorial information: ionic channels. Not-so-well studied modalities, such as nociception and thermosensation are particularly interesting to me.
