ULE, Ernst Heinrich Georg 1854 - 1915

Botanist and explorer. Trained as gardener. Emigrated to Brazil in 1883. Private tutor, later worked at the botanical department of the National Museum in Rio de Janeiro. Became private tutor once he left and undertook a big expedition to Brazil (in particular in the Amazon area). Finally resident in Berlin.
