SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My personal scientific interests lie in understanding pathological processes of neurodegenerative diseases and their underlying molecular mechanisms. In this respect I am particular interested in fluorescence microscopy to investigate protein processing, signal transduction, and protein aggregation. I am eager to get to know the various other scientific areas of neurosciences, ideally by doing interdisciplinary international research.
