SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

The practical aspect of science and application of scientific knowledge in medicine was always important for me. Generally, I am enthusiastic about molecular neuroscience. The area of my interest covers molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, brain cancer, and the role of ion channels in these processes. I also want to get a deep understanding of synapse function and biochemical mechanisms of signal transduction.
