Immanence and/as Modernity: Shakespeare between Tragedy and Romance

I have read English, Spanish, and Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies at the University of Potsdam and the Freie Universität Berlin. I received my PhD in English Literatures in 2012 from the Friedrich Schlegel Graduate Schools of Literary Studies at the Freie Universität for a dissertation entitled The Picaresque: Literatures of Precarity/Precarious Literatures. My research and teaching interests include the theories and practices of modernity, modernization and modernism, the history and theory of realism and the novel, literature and culture of Early Modern England, postcolonial literatures and theories, and cultural theories of space.
