Since the retirement of Professor Brabänder in the spring of 1995 the chair of forest business economics is filled by Professor Dr. Bernhard Möhring (since 1997) with a two year substitution by Professor Dr. Martin Moog (1995-97).
The chair in environmental economics and wood products markets is not refilled after the retirement of Professor Dr. Bergen in 2004. The functions of the professorship are exercised by PD Dr. Roland Olschewski until the end of the winter semester 2006/07. In 2007 the institute takes over the teaching area of forest utilization and is incorporated into the Burckhardt-Institute of the faculty of forest sciences and forest ecology during a reorganization of the faculty.
