Intercultural competence is an integrative, multidimensional concept for utilizing the synergy effects of diversity, that is, making allowances for one’s own as well as the foreigner’s knowledge, perception and actions. It involves a deliberate search for common ground and continuous re-examination of the interaction between the cultures.

With a choice of training programmes, we offer you an educational opportunity to become an i²E (an intercultural interaction expert) and to acquire an “International Certificate: Integration and Diversity (Zertifikat Internationales: Integration & Diversity)” – or to prepare and evaluate your study abroad (i²MoVe) from an intercultural point of view, so that you can subsequently acquire the “International Certificate: Mobility (Zertifikat Internationales: Mobilität)”.
