The PhD study program “biodiversity and society” will be funded with 1 million euro by the federal state Lower Saxony

Financially supported by the state of Lower Saxony, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen has established a new PhD program „Biodiversity and Society – Human dimensions of protection and utilization of biological diversity“. The program is geared towards highly promising junior scientists, and is scheduled to welcome the first students in spring 2010. A total of fifteen well-endowed grants is available.
The PhD-Program is based at theGoettingen Graduate School of Social Sciences.
