The InfoLine is the information and communications centre at the Office of Student Affairs. It is the first place to go when you have questions concerning studying at Göttingen University.

We will answer your questions on the application / matriculation process, the organisation of studies, or international and administrative matters quickly and straightforward by phone or by e-mail. Our staff is well-prepared for callers from abroad, as they speak several languages.

To provide you with information as rapidly as possible, we use a data bank that is constantly updated; we also have access to the student administration office data bank.

More complex questions are redirected to our competent colleagues at the Office of Student Affairs, or to the institution responsible for the particular matter, e.g. the faculties, examination offices, advisory services, the student services organisation, etc.

All members of staff at the InfoLine are students of Göttingen University; due to their familiarity with the structure of the University they possess a special understanding of the needs of students and prospective students.
