Re-registration (required for every following semester)




If you would like to continue your current course of studies in Göttingen, you must re-registrate on time and pay the semester fees for every following semester. The easiest way to do this is to use the self-service functions (direct account debit). After successful activation of the direct debit, you will be immediately re-enroled for the following semester. Then you can imprint all the certifications you need using the self-service functions and prolong the validity period printed on your student identification card at one of the self-service terminals at Göttingen University.

You may also remit the fees by bank transfer. In this case, the certificates for the current semester will be active after seven working days. From then on you can also have the current validity period printed on your student identification card at one of the self-service terminals.

December 1 - January 31 for the following summer semester
