Certificate programmes at the University of Göttingen

This webpage is designed to give you an overview of the certificates you can gain as part of the key competency options at the University of Göttingen. Gaining a certificate is worthwhile when you want to focus more intensively on an area of expertise, that is, to get a grounding in a field, as a basis for developing sound knowledge or skills.
A certificate can also help to develop your profile and document the acquisition of supplementary skills (not least for prospective employers), and so can be a precursor to career entry. Depending on exam regulations and number of credits, you can take a certificate course as part of the key competency options/optional modules or as a voluntary additional module.

ZEWIL/ Lehramt PluS

The increasing digitalisation of all areas of life is one of the central challenges of our time, which is why the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs introduced a strategy for 'Education in a Digital World'. As multipliers, teachers, and therefore you, — as student teachers — bear a special responsibility. To equip you with the skills to support children and young people in learning competently with and about digital media, Lehramt PluS offers you the #DigitalEducation focus. Within this certificate programme, we collaborate with the Media Competence Certificate from the ZESS, as well as the Institute of Computer Science.

  • Internship / Practical Component: Practical module with 6 credits
  • Registration: Register for the seminars via StudIP
