The GGG aims to make the atmosphere of the Week of Methods as relaxing and pleasant as possible for all persons involved and therefore, offers different opportunities and services.
The GGG is always very happy to receive comments and further suggestions. Please contact us!

  • During the entire conference coffee, tea and water is available in the recreation room. Bringing other drinks and food is recommended. We also invite you to use the room for interdisciplinary exchange with colleagues from other faculties.
  • To get in contact with the PhD students, who participate in parallel workshops, the lunch breaks of all workshops are synchronized.
  • Furthermore we usually offer an optional fringe event, i.e. a guided tour through the historical observatory and a barbeque on Tuesday evening.

Childcare
During the entire conference, childcare facilitates PhD students with children to also participate in the Week of Methods, if you mention this within your application. The childcare facility provided by the GGG in cooperation with the Göttingen University family service and the Kindertagespflegebörse Göttingen is equipped with qualified staff. To allow us to accommodate your needs as much as possible, please let us know the times you require our assistance when you register for the Week of Methods

Barrier-free access
The seminar rooms are all barrier-free accessible. If you are in need of additional assistance, please contact ggg@uni-goettingen.de as soon as possible.

Evaluation
To continue improving our services and adjust them to the PhD students necessities, we kindly ask you to participate in the evaluation of the Week of Methods. Thank you very much!
