Research Assistant
(Postdoctoral Position)

(currently 39,8 hours per week) with a limited contract of initially 1 year, with possibility of extension. The salary level follows E 13 TV-L. This position should be filled as soon as possible, the preferred starting date being July 1st.

The project covers synthetic coordination chemistry, bioinspired small molecule activation, and mechanistic studies. We are looking for a highly motivated graduate (PhD in Chemistry or equivalent) with experience in the synthesis and handling of air sensitive metal complexes, kinetic analysis and electronic structure elucidation of 3d transition metal complexes. Additional background in electrochemistry is highly welcome. We will provide a stimulating research environment in a diverse and interdisciplinary team as well as first-class facilities. An excellent scientific record and fluent English are required.
