Field Experiences and Project Management

  • Team leader for the research project “Impact of shocks on the vulnerability to poverty: Consequences for development of emerging Southeast Asian economies” (DFG Research Unit FOR 756; see www.vulnerability-asia.uni-hannover.de). Responsible for coordination and implementation of surveys of 2200 rural households in Thailand (Time on site; 2 months in both 2008 & 2011)
  • Led part in the planning, organisation and implementation of a panel village census in Phetchabun province including household, migrant and social network surveys elsewhere in Thailand (Time on site; 2 months in both 2008 & 2009)
