| Beschreibung | Deep learning has had a lot of success in the recent past. It has surpassed the performance of older approaches in many areas, e.g., image processing and natural language processing. However, researchers and developers often ignore the resource consumption of modern deep learning systems, both for training and actual usage / inference. In this talk I will discuss how we can reduce the resource consumption of deep learning and how doing so can open up new possibilities to integrate deep learning into almost every object in our physical world, leading to the so-called Internet of Intelligent Things. |
